A recent customer in Mt Eden has installed a Raindrops stormwater retention tank to meet Council requirements for the building consent for their renovation. Often the Council in Auckland will not approve building renovations that increase the dwelling footprint and therefore the rain catchment without either a soak hole or a stormwater retention tank. The Council wants to avoid additional demands on its stormwater system.
